  • The Champagne Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée (AOC) region covers around 35,000 hectares (319 districts), with 33,800 hectares in production;
  • Winegrowers own 90% of the production area, while the Champagne Maisons market 73% of total shipments and 87% of export volume ;
  • Available harvest for 201810.800 kg / ha (including release), the equivalent of 311 million bottles
  • Grape: a valuable raw material, with €5.86€ to more than €7.70 per kg paid for the 2018 harvest;
